We didn't start this business just because we saw a gap in the market.
We started it because we were Phil the Pool Man’s customers for ten years - and we knew firsthand what a good, trusted pool service felt like. When Phil made the decision to retire, we didn't want to see that standard disappear from the Peninsula. So we took it on.
To build on what was already working and bring it forward with stronger systems, clearer communication, and the same care for people's homes that made Phil's business worth continuing in the first place.

We're Ryan & Steph Bailey - Mornington Peninsula locals, and the husband & wife behind Modern Hedge, our hedge trimming and garden care business we've been running on the Mornington Peninsula for 12 years.
We know what it takes to run a service business people actually trust. To show up consistently. To communicate clearly. To treat someone's home with the same respect you'd want shown to your own. Billy is who you’re most likely to see at your home. The person who'll be at your pool, every visit, every time. He’ll be building a relationship with your property and getting to know exactly what it needs.
He's supported by the systems, processes, and people behind Modern Pool Care, but the care you see when he leaves is entirely his.
